Phone Cases and Cables from Dongguan
Fiona3 min read
Cases and cables are a Dongguan and Shenzhen accessory trade, not a phone factory. Material, print, and what the cable actually does are the three things I lock before a logo run.
Electrical goods are the largest slice of what the United States still buys from China. A finished phone is not the order I take. A case, a cable, and a simple accessory are. Those are made beside the phone industry, mostly in Dongguan, with the more electronic neighbors in Shenzhen. Both are on the industrial hub guide.
A case is a material and a print
Thermoplastic polyurethane, polycarbonate, and silicone are three different cases. They yellow, crack, and take ink differently. I name the material on the quotation. The print method matters as much: a logo that looks sharp on a sample and rubs off in a pocket is a print choice, not bad luck. I rub the sample before I approve it.
Fit is the other half. A case for one phone generation does not fit the next. The purchase order names the device, not “universal.” Button feel and camera cutout are checked on a real phone, not on a drawing.
A cable has to say what it does
- Charge only, or charge and data. Those are different cables.
- Connector and length, written down. A 1 metre cable that is short is a return.
- If the cable claims to work with a branded device, the factory needs the authorization that claim requires. A sticker is not an authorization.
- Your logo and a retail bag are light customization. A new connector mold is not.
This is a low-weight product, so the first order often flies and the repeat goes by sea. Tell me the phone model, the material, and the quantity. I will put it in Dongguan unless the item is really an electronic product that belongs in Shenzhen.
Send the product and the quantity.
I will name the cluster, the check that matters on this item, and the port the goods should leave from.
